Your Ultimate Jacket Measurement Guide

At Real leathers Jacket, we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for your jacket or coat. Whether you are looking for a stylish leather jacket, a comfortable winter coat, or a practical raincoat, getting the right measurements is essential. In this guide, we will walk you through the process of taking your jacket measurements, ensuring you find the perfect fit for your next purchase.

Before you start measuring, here are a few tips to keep in mind:

  • Wear form-fitting clothes or no clothes at all to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Use a flexible tape measure for the most accurate results.
  • Measure yourself in front of a mirror or have someone help you to ensure the tape measure is straight and level.

Now that you know the basics let’s get started with the measurements:

  1. Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest/bust, keeping the tape measure under your arms and across your shoulder blades.

  2. Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, which is typically the narrowest part of your torso, located above your belly button and below your ribcage.

  3. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks.

  4. Sleeve Length: Measure from the top of your shoulder down to your wrist. To ensure the most accurate measurement, bend your elbow slightly and measure to the wrist bone.

  5. Shoulder Width: Measure from the tip of one shoulder to the tip of the other shoulder, across your upper back.

  6. Back Length: Measure from the base of your neck to the bottom of your spine or where you would like the jacket to end.

  7. Bicep: Measure around the widest part of your bicep with your arm relaxed at your side.

Now that you have all the measurements, refer to our sizing chart or the product page to find the right size for your jacket or coat. If you are between sizes, we recommend going up a size for a comfortable fit. If you have any questions or need further assistance with your measurements, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team. We are always here to help you find the perfect fit for your next jacket or coat purchase.
